Death by Force

On the evening of July 26, 2007, Kimo Oka Muronaga, a 31-year-old male of Asian descent, was fatally shot while walking home from work in San Diego's Mountain View neighborhood. The incident occurred around 10:30 p.m. in the 3600 block of Imperial Avenue. According to investigators, Muronaga was an unintended victim, caught in the crossfire of a shooting by an unknown assailant.
