On July 15, 1969, James Edwards, a 53-year-old resident of Columbus, Ohio, was fatally shot while standing next to his car at 2211 Ridgeway in Franklin County. He was shot once in the upper abdomen and succumbed to his injuries at 11:50 p.m. The Columbus Police Department was responsible for the investigation, but despite their efforts, the case remains unsolved.
