On April 9, 2008, 37-year-old Luis Solari was tragically shot and killed while driving on Interstate 280 in San Francisco. Solari, a Richmond resident, was driving southbound near the Alemany and Monterey Boulevard exits around 6 p.m. when the shooting occurred. At the time of the incident, his two young sons, aged seven and eight, were in the back seat of the car. Thankfully, the children were not physically harmed during the attack.
