On October 24, 2012, 19-year-old Cesar Bermudez was shot and killed in a double shooting in San Francisco's Mission District. Bermudez and another man were standing near 24th and Harrison Streets when suspects approached them and opened fire. Bermudez was fatally wounded, while the other victim was injured but survived.
