On December 28, 1976, Anna Mays, a 31-year-old woman, was tragically shot and killed while visiting a friend in Columbus, Ohio. The incident occurred at 1304 E. 18th Street when there was a knock on the door. Anna answered, and she was shot immediately upon opening the door. She was pronounced dead at the scene, and her homicide remains unsolved.
