On August 20, 1988, 48-year-old Odell Barnett was killed in Columbus, Ohio. The incident occurred at 756 Pierce Drive #D in Franklin County. Barnett was found with a gunshot wound to his chest and was transported to Mt. Carmel Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries. The case has remained unsolved, and there has been little progress made in identifying any suspects or motives behind the crime.
