On April 5, 1995, Raymond Cheeks, a thirty-three-year-old man, was found deceased in a field located east of 1850 E. 25th Avenue in Columbus, Ohio. He had suffered a gunshot wound, which was determined to be the cause of his death. This case has remained unsolved for many years, and details regarding potential suspects or motives have not been made public. The Columbus Police Department has been involved in the investigation, but no viable leads have emerged to bring the perpetrator to justice.
