On September 20, 1995, 33-year-old Harold Wade was found dead outside his home on East 22nd Avenue in Columbus, Ohio, with a fatal gunshot wound. Police investigating the case were unable to identify suspects or determine a clear motive, leaving his homicide unsolved and eventually classified as a cold case. Despite the time elapsed since Wade’s death, the Columbus Police Department, supported by the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation (BCI), has periodically revisited the case in an effort
to gather new leads.
