On August 6, 2000, George L. Groves, 46, was found murdered in his apartment at Sherwood Forest West in Columbus, Ohio. When friends discovered him, they found that Groves had been both beaten and stabbed, a brutal crime that shocked the local community. Law enforcement, including the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office and the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation, continue to seek any information that might shed light on the perpetrator or motives behind Groves’s tragic death.
