Glenn lived on this property and sold firewood, which is why a visitor came by that day. When Glenn did not answer the door, the visitor became concerned and entered the trailer, where they discovered blood. Deputies from the Medina County Sheriff's Office were called to the scene, and upon entering, they found Glenn Griffin Sr. had been shot.
The case was immediately ruled a homicide, but remains unsolved to this day.
