On June 9, 2002, David Slater Jr., a 22-year-old male, was tragically killed in Columbus, Ohio. The incident took place on East 16th Avenue near Pearl Alley, close to the Ohio State University campus. Slater, a student at the university, was shot while sitting in his friend's car.
