On July 8, 2002, Baby Boy Ferguson tragically died as a result of a gunshot wound sustained by his mother before his birth. The incident took place on West State Street in Columbus, Ohio. The unborn child did not survive the trauma caused by the gunshot, and his death was ruled as a homicide.
