Valentine Mbah, a 46-year-old resident of Dayton, Ohio, was tragically killed on December 31, 2003, during an armed robbery. Mbah was shot in the parking lot of the liquor store he owned and operated, located at 3025 Salem Avenue in Dayton. The incident occurred late on New Year's Eve, shortly after Mbah and his son had closed the store for the night.
