On July 21, 2005, Bouchard Kindall, a 24-year-old resident of Akron, Ohio, was tragically shot and killed outside B&J’s Lounge, located at 174 Cole Avenue. The incident occurred around 11:30 p.m., following an altercation in the lounge's parking lot. During the altercation, shots were fired, and Kindall suffered a fatal gunshot wound. Despite the passage of time, the identity of those involved in the shooting has not been confirmed, and the case remains unsolved.
