On February 4, 2006, Toledo Police responded to a report of a shooting at a residential property located at 2412 Auburn Avenue in Toledo, Ohio. Upon their arrival, they discovered 41-year-old Othell Floyd lying on the garage floor with a gunshot wound to his chest. Emergency responders from the Toledo Fire Department transported Floyd to Toledo Hospital, where he was pronounced dead shortly afterward. The case was classified as a homicide, but as of today, it remains unsolved.
