Alissa Clere, a 40-year-old woman, was found dead on April 18, 2007, in a remote area of southern Franklin County, Ohio. Her body was discovered by a quarry worker off Rowe Road, and it was clear that she had suffered a violent death. Alissa had been beaten and stabbed, and her body was then set on fire in what appeared to be an attempt to destroy evidence. This act of violence left investigators searching for clues in an effort to piece together her final days.
