Christopher McCollough, an 18-year-old from Columbus, Ohio, was shot and killed on October 10, 2007. The incident took place at 1369 Tompkins Street, in the Linden area of Columbus. Reports indicate that McCollough was in the company of four other young men at around 12:08 p.m. when the group became involved in an altercation over property, which ultimately led to shots being fired. Christopher was struck by at least one gunshot and succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
