Quincy Battle, aged 32, was murdered on March 24, 2010, in Columbus, Ohio. Battle, who was known for selling marijuana out of his home on the east side of Columbus, became a target for the Short North Posse, a gang active in the area. On that day, Jonathan Holt, acting as part of the gang, along with several accomplices, went to Battle’s home to rob him of fifteen pounds of marijuana that they suspected he had stashed.
