On June 27, 2009, 29-year-old Traci Spangler was tragically shot and killed in Oakland, California. She was fatally wounded in East Oakland, and her death added to the city's escalating homicide count that year. At the time of her death, Spangler was employed at Manheim Auto Auction in Hayward. Described as a joyful and adventurous spirit, she had a lasting impact on those around her.
