On the night of July 7, 2013, Glenn Simley, aged 28, was fatally shot in a double homicide on the southeast side of Columbus, Ohio. The incident occurred near 930 Oakwood Avenue around 10:20 p.m. when Simley, along with another victim, Martaveious Arnold, was attacked while sitting in a car. According to reports, the vehicle rolled forward and eventually came to rest against an embankment.
Arnold, aged 31, was pronounced dead at the scene, while Simley was taken to Grant Medical Center in critical condition and succumbed to his injuries early on July 8, 2013.
