On January 11, 2014, Stephen Halton Jr., a 30-year-old anesthesia technician at the Cleveland Clinic, was fatally shot while waiting at a bus stop in Cleveland, Ohio. Halton, a dedicated medical worker, had been on call for an organ transplant surgery scheduled for early that morning.
