On January 18, 2015, 28-year-old David Mullins was shot and killed in Columbus, Ohio, during what police described as an attempted robbery. The incident occurred just after midnight on Hayden Avenue in the Franklinton area. Officers arrived at the scene to find Mullins suffering from gunshot wounds, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
