On July 17, 2016, 42-year-old Michael Lamont Johnson was fatally shot in Columbus, Ohio. The incident occurred in the 1400 block of East Broad Street. At approximately 6:42 AM, Michael Johnson was brought to Ohio State University East Emergency Room suffering from a gunshot wound. Despite efforts by medical personnel, he succumbed to his injuries at around 6:52 AM.
