On the night of July 30, 2016, Otis Clay Jr., aged 39, was found fatally shot in his vehicle at 970 Dover Street in Akron, Ohio. The incident occurred at around 11:30 p.m., and the Akron Police Department responded to the scene. Despite the prompt arrival of law enforcement, Clay was pronounced dead on site, having sustained fatal gunshot wounds. The motive for the shooting remains unknown, and no suspects have been publicly identified. The homicide is currently listed as unsolved.
