On August 16, 2016, a 27-year-old African American man named Timothy Janson was fatally shot in the West Price Hill neighborhood of Cincinnati, Ohio. The incident occurred in the 5000 block of Westwood Avenue, where Cincinnati police responded to reports of gunfire and discovered Timothy Janson suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Emergency responders transported him to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center, where he was later pronounced dead.
