On April 24, 2017, 26-year-old Alonzo Edwards was shot near Wrexham Park in Columbus, Ohio. The shooting occurred at around 5:30 p.m., and Edwards was transported to the hospital where he later died at 10:52 p.m. The investigation revealed that the shooting took place on a street just north of the park entrance.
