Sharon Jones, 21, was found murdered inside her dorm room inside Mitchell-Lewis Dormitory on the campus of Elizabeth City State University in Elizabeth City, NC, on the morning of March 5, 1984. She had returned to the campus early during spring break to attend to her student-teacher requirements at local elementary schools.
