On August 9, 1997, Barbara Clemens Tedrick, a 59-year-old resident of Charlotte, North Carolina, was tragically murdered in a still-unsolved case. The incident occurred around 5:20 p.m. after Tedrick had returned from grocery shopping and was walking towards her home at the Overlook Apartments on Scaleybark Road.
