On December 7, 2008, 41-year-old Edwin Aguero was tragically shot and killed outside a laundromat in Durham, North Carolina. His body was discovered on the sidewalk in front of the Laundry King Laundromat in Wellons Village Shopping Center on North Miami Boulevard. Durham police were called to the scene, but Aguero was pronounced dead shortly after. Investigators classified the case as a homicide and began searching for leads.
