On January 22, 2010, David L. White, a 21-year-old man from Charlotte, North Carolina, was found fatally shot in the 3300 block of Avalon Avenue. The shooting occurred around 9:19 p.m., and early investigations suggested that White might have been the victim of a robbery. Authorities responded to the scene, but despite their efforts, no suspects were immediately identified.
