Megan Waterman, a 22-year-old woman from South Portland, Maine, was one of the victims in the Gilgo Beach serial killings. She went missing on June 6, 2010, after placing advertisements on Craigslist as an escort. On the day of her disappearance, Waterman had been staying at a motel in Hauppauge, New York, approximately 15 miles northeast of Gilgo Beach.
