Larry Lacy, aged 20, was San Francisco's first homicide victim of 2011. He was shot multiple times at close range while sitting on a sidewalk in the Tenderloin neighborhood near Turk and Taylor Streets on the afternoon of January 1, 2011. The shooting occurred around 3:20 p.m., and the assailant fled the scene immediately afterward. Lacy was taken to San Francisco General Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
