A woman dies as a result of arson On October 11, 1986, a tragic fire broke out at 314 Islington Street in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, claiming the lives of 24-year-old Terry Giles, 29-year-old Joseph Poulin, and 39-year-old Linda Plummer. The fire was determined to be an act of arson, transforming the case into a homicide investigation.
