Any updates on this case?
Shanta Renee Eddings, 20, an African-American woman and student from Las Vegas, died on October 25, 2008. An obituary published in the Las Vegas Review-Journal listed her survivors, including a young daughter, and announced services held in mid-November of that year. The obituary did not describe the circumstances of her death, only the loss felt by her family and the city she called home.
