Geraldo Ayala, 46, male, Hispanic/Latino, was found on December 9, 2013, slumped over the steering wheel of a van in a parking lot off the 6300 block of Lake Mead Boulevard near Torrey Pines Drive in Las Vegas. Responding officers said he was already dead when they arrived, and early indications at the scene suggested he had suffered a gunshot wound. The Clark County coroner identified him later that month, while police described the discovery and its grim setting with the matter-of-fact brevity ...
