Delroy Tatenda Ashton, a 23-year-old originally from Harare, Zimbabwe, was found dead on March 5, 2015, near a turnout along Highway 160, about 50 miles west of Las Vegas. His body had been severely beaten, and it was later discovered that he had been set on fire. Ashton had been living in the United States, primarily in California, and his death shocked both his family and local authorities.
