On August 3, 2016, five-month-old Henry Martinez of Las Vegas was found unresponsive after suffering severe injuries. His father, Assuan Martinez, initially claimed he was trying to save his son from choking on milk, but investigations revealed the baby had extensive injuries consistent with physical abuse, including blunt force trauma to the head and ribs.
