On November 9, 2016, 58-year-old Richard Ozuna was beaten to death in Las Vegas following a dispute over a $7 debt. The suspect, William Johnson, allegedly attacked Ozuna using a rock during the altercation, which took place near a tire shop on West Sahara Avenue. Johnson was later charged with open murder after authorities linked him to the crime. Despite initial delays, the case moved forward with Johnson facing legal consequences for the violent death of his former friend.
