In the summer of 2017, the life of a 45-year-old Hispanic woman, Lizzette Schley, was tragically cut short in her Las Vegas home. On the morning of July 9th, neighbors on Rockcrest Drive were alarmed by the sounds of a woman screaming and struggling inside a nearby residence. Their concerned calls to 911 brought officers from the Metropolitan Police Department to the scene at approximately 9 a.m.
