On February 16, 2012, Lamont Price, age 17, was shot and killed in broad daylight on the 8100 block of Birch Street in Oakland, California. The tragic incident occurred shortly before 4 p.m., leaving his family devastated. Price's sister, Brijjanna, was 16 at the time and has since faced challenges coping with her brother's death while also becoming a young mother.
