Who killed a disabled WWII vet in cold blood?
On November 17, 1979, George Daniel Jensen, a 61-year-old disabled World War II veteran, was found brutally murdered in his Bloomington, Minnesota, mobile home. Jensen, who had been disabled by a stroke and required the use of a cane, was discovered by neighbors who became concerned after not seeing him for several days. Upon entering his home, they found Jensen had been violently attacked—strangled with an electrical cord, beaten with his own ashtray, and stabbed multiple times.
