Felipe Jason Moreno, age 20, was shot and killed on December 22, 2012, in San Bernardino, California, during a party dubbed the "End of the World" gathering. The party had attracted a large crowd, and the shooting occurred around midnight while Moreno and his cousin, Daniel Gomez, were driving away. Moreno was shot fatally in the upper torso, causing the vehicle to roll to a stop, while Gomez sustained gunshot injuries to his arm.
