In the early morning hours of March 4, 2011, a violent incident claimed the life of 17-year-old Dwayne Pearson, a Black male also known by the nickname "Dre." The events unfolded in Detroit, Michigan, specifically within the 11800 block of Morang Drive on the city's east side.
