Derrick Smith, a 29-year-old African American male, was tragically killed on July 11, 2011, in Detroit, Michigan. His body was discovered on Manor Street in a residential area of the city. Despite efforts by local law enforcement, his homicide remains one of many unsolved cases from that year.
