On May 21, 2012, the life of 33-year-old Claude Pringle came to a sudden and violent end in Detroit, Michigan. A Black male, Pringle was discovered in the 12000 block of Morang Avenue on the city's east side, where responding officers investigated the scene of what was determined to be a homicide. His death occurred during a particularly violent period for the city, contributing to a spike in murder rates recorded throughout that year.
