In the summer of 2012, a promising young man's life was tragically cut short in Detroit. Wyman Shaver, a 23-year-old male who was actively pursuing a career in nursing, was fatally shot on July 12th of that year. He was the victim of a carjacking that took a violent turn in the parking lot of the Olympia Coney Island.
