On May 5, 2013, 17-year-old Olajuwon Clayborn was fatally shot in front of his home on Dowling Street in East Oakland, California. The shooting occurred around 10 p.m., and another male was also injured but survived. Clayborn was a senior at Castlemont High School at the time of his death and had previously attended Berkeley High School.
