In the late afternoon of July 28, 2024, the body of 22-year-old Quincy Jones, an African American male, was discovered inside an SUV on Williamson Road in Bridgeport Township, Michigan. An investigation determined that he had been fatally shot. The vehicle was found parked in a residential area around 2:45 PM, but the motive for the shooting was not immediately clear.
