On December 2, 2012, 17-year-old African American male Deshawn Ponder was tragically killed in Detroit, Michigan. The incident occurred at 5091 Pennsylvania Street and was classified as a double homicide, with 22-year-old Deonte Tarver also losing his life in the same event.
