Kevin Brown, a 22-year-old man, was drawn into what prosecutors described as a setup that began like an ordinary night and ended in violence. In December 2011, he was lured to the Clemens Court Apartments in Clinton Township under the pretext of taking Renyatta Hamilton out on a date, only to be ambushed by Larry Stewart in what authorities said was an armed robbery plan.
